Dyson Vacuums
Welcome to
Dysondc.com.
The aim of this website is to provide you with independent
reviews of the DC range of Dyson vacuum cleaners.
We have searched the internet to get a range of customer
reviews and compiled them here. Detailed specifications of each
Dyson vacuum are also included in order to help you make an
informed decision on which dyson vacuum is right for you.

Why
Choose a Dyson vacuum?
It took inventor James Dyson over 5 years and over 5000
prototype vacuums to come up with the groundbreaking bagless
vacuum. The Dyson bagless vacuum does not lose suction compared
to traditional vacuums Dyson call this bagless technology
Root cyclone technologyTM.
Other vacuum manufacturers try
to imitate Dyson's technology but due to the 800+ Dyson
international patents, nearly all fail. In fact, in 1999,
Dyson successfully sued Hoover for infringing Dyson
patents.
All new Dyson vacuums come with a 5 year warranty as
standard.
Which
Dyson?
Its highly likely that there is a Dyson vacuum cleaner to
suit your needs.
Dysons range includes vacuums for:
1. People who suffer from
allergies/Asthma.
All the vacuums in the Dyson range are
classed as "Asthma friendly" by the asthma and allergy
association of America. They are also approved for
Allergy
sufferers by the British Allergy
Foundation.
If you do suffer from allergies/asthma,
then the best machine for you is the
Dyson DC17 allergy and
asthma model.
This is currently the only model which is
made specifically with allergy and asthma sufferers in
mind.
2. Houses with multiple
floor surfaces (carpet, laminate flooring
etc).
Of Dysons upright models the
DC14, DC24 and the DC25 have an all floors
model.
The DC14 all
floors is the standard all floors model. The DC24
and DC25 models both come with ball technology. The
DC25 is the
more powerful of the 2 whereas the DC24 is better
suited to smaller households with little storage space.
3. Animal lovers.
If you have a cat or dog, Its likely
that your house gets covered in hairs from them. In each of
dysons dc vacuum range, they have an Animal model.
The Dyson Animal models come with all the
standard "all floors" attachments plus extra attachments to
tackle pet hairs.
The Dyson DC17 'absolute
Animal' is the top of the range
animal model. It has a direct drive motorised brushbar
which enables better carpet cleaning - especially for pet
hair.
4. Houses with hard to reach areas
(telescopic dyson)
If you are looking for a Dyson which can
stretch to those hard to reach areas, then you may want one
with a telescopic handle on it.
The DC14,
DC15, DC17 and DC18 models all
come with telescopic reach.
If you want to be able to suck the cobwebs
from the corners of your ceiling, don't choose the Dsyson
DC07 as that model does not have telescopic reach.
5. Houses with little storage
space.
If you don't have enough storage space for a
normal dyson, you may want to consider the
Dyson
DC24 if you are
looking for an upright cleaner.
The DC24 is lighter and easier to manouver than all
Dysons other upright vacuums.
If you don't need an upright cleaner, you could go for
the Dyson
DC20 Stowaway.
With the stowaway, the wand and hose compress and wrap
around the vacuum for easy and compact storage.
