Have just purchased the Dyson DC19 after a few years with an upright Dyson which I found heavy and awkward to manouver although it did have a strong suction and cleaned well.

I have a home with a mix of carpeted,laminate wood floors and some cushionflor and wanted a lighter cylinder model that would easily go from one to another without having to change heads.

The Dyson DC19 vacuum has a RRP of £199.99.  Its sold on Dyson's official site for that price but you it is available for less.

Amazon is always my first choice for Dyson vacuums - they are currently offering a 30% discount and free delivery - from £139.99.

 is a great place for low priced Dyson's especially if you are willing to buy a refurbished/second hand one. 

One warning if you are buying through Ebay - always ask the seller about the 5 year warranty, it may not be included with second hand vacuums.
